Estão oficializadas as listas para a competição de 2017 quer na Endurance Cup, quer na Sprint Series.

Emil Frey Jaguar Racing 2017

For this Blancpain GT Series, the swiss team will enter with two cars in Pro category and they will race only the Endurance Cup.

This year the lineup is not very diferent from 2016, maintaining five drivers, Stephane Ortelli, Lorenz Frey, Albert Costa Balboa will be behind the #14 car while the sister car will get Christian Klien and Jonathan Hirschi as regular drivers, while Marco Seefried, Lorenz Frey and Philipp Frommenwiler will rotate the last seat place through races.

This year, this private team is aiming high by trying to be running in Top 10. For that reason they did immense testing in the winter season so that the Jag will bw in top form when the season starts.

This is a very special team, with a lot of effort from the owner which is also considering some Sprint Cup events.

Audi WRT Surprises!

A lot of news from the belgium team as a lot of new names enter the 2017 lineups as WRT enter five cars in Sprint and four in Endurance Cup. At first glance it seems that the main target will be the Endurance Cup while the Sprint Series will get one main contender, #1 car Mies and Ide.

For the Sprint Cup here are the lineups:

This is a topic that is going to be developed further away, as it seems to be big turn of events for Audi.

Zakspeed no Blancpain GT Series

Mais uma excelente notícia, a Zakspeed irá participar nas Blancpain GT Series com dois Mercedes AMG GT3 na categoria Pro-Am.

Um dos carros será composto pelo piloto português Rui Águas, Kriton Lendoudis e José Balbiani. O segundo carro tem para já um nome confirmado, Immanuel Vinke que no passado ano competiu no campeonato GT4 europeu. Os restantes nomes para este segundo carro serão anunciados brevemente.

É a estreia da Zakspeed na Blancpain GT Series após participações na ADAC GT Masters e VLN Series, com bastante notoriedade o que faz com que se anteveja como uma das equipas a lutar pelo pódio na categoria Pro-Am.

Audi Sport @ Nurburgring 2017

Audi just released the lineups for the 24H Nurburgring 2017 and they will tackle the Green Hell with four factory-supported cars. Audi Sport Land and Audi Sport Tem WRT will have two cars each.

The lineups from Land:

Christopher Haase, Pierre Kaffer, Connor De Phillippi and Christopher Mies

Connor De Phillippi, Christopher Mies, Markus Winkelhock and Kelvin van der Linde.

WRT:

Marcel Fassler, Robin Frijns, Nico Mueller ans Rene Rast

Nico Mueller, Rene Rast, Frank Stippler and Frederic Vervisch

The biggest surprise was that Phoenix Team is no longer factory-supported by Audi and that means they will change for a complete new direction?!

Besides that, still a strong lineup for this year, Audi needs to get a better performance than last year.

Será este o regresso triunfal da Falken Motorsports? Uma notícia sensasional é no mínimo o que se pode dizer! A Falken surpreende não só pela adição do BMW M6 GT3 ao Porsche 911 GT3 R, mas também pelos pilotos ao seu dispor que faz da equipa um autêntico Dream Team.

Para já as notícias são relativas à VLN Series, mas poderemos antever uma participação muito forte para as 24H Nurburgring uma vez que apresenta os pilotos Peter Dumbreck, Alexandre Imperatori, Marco Seefried, Stef Dusseldorp BMW M6), Martin Ragginger, Jorg Bergmeister, Dirk Werner e Laurens Vanthoor (Porsche 911).

Uma palavra para o layout dos carros, são do mais belo que já presenciamos, absolutamente fantásticas as cores!

As expectativas para este ano são cada vez mais elevadas e o espectáculo da categoria GT3/GTD é cada vez mais promissor.

Kessel Racing 2017

A equipa campeã da categoria Pro-Am do ano passado da Blancpain GT Series anunciou a semana passada os seus pilotos para esta época. Piti Bhirom Bhakdi and Carlo Van Dam vão estar na Sprint Cup numa parceria com a Singha Motorsports enquanto que o actual campeão Marco Zanuttini terá dois novos colegas para o carro #11, David Perel e Jacques Duyver na categoria Am.

Será que estas alterações na formação podem levar a uma nova direcção nos resultados ou a experiência da equipa juntamente com a chegada de sangue novo é mais do que suficiente para manter o reinado?

Team AKKA-ASP Blancpain GT Series

A equipa francesa eleva assim ainda mais o nível competitivo da Blancpain GT Series, se no ano anterior os resultados eram muito bons, este ano com a adição de Michael Meadows, Daniel Juncadella, Felix Serralles e Raffaele Marciello os resultados tendem a melhorar.

Infelizmente não foi mantido Felix Rosenqvist, o que é uma enorme baixa, mas dado enorme talento do piloto sueco, este é cada vez mais requisitado para outros eventos como é o caso da Formula E.

Mesmo assim as presenças de pilotos como Tristan Vautier, Jules Gounon e Daniele Perfetti podem permitir à AKKA-ASP muito bons resultados tanto na Endurance Cup como nas Sprint Series.
